BIG NIGHT OUT WITH FIFTEEN
Fifteen was a concept set up by Jamie Oliver in London in 2002 and exists to inspire disadvantaged young people to believe that they can create for themselves great careers in the restaurant industry. The Fifteen Restaurant Melbourne opened in 2006, headed up by head chef Tobie Puttock (formerly Jamie's main man at Fifteen London). Fifteen Melbourne employs up to 20 young people each year who need a break in life and are genuinely passionate about the prospect of a career as a chef and the chance of a fresh start.
A Big Night Out with Fifteen will be a fun-filled evening, with lots of great ways for you to support the Fifteen Foundation, fabulous entertainment and an incredible 5 course dinner menu designed and cooked by Jamie, Tobie and the apprentices to ensure you have a night to remember. Our aim is to raise much needed funds for our charity so that we can continue our transformation work with young people.
So far we've secured the venue, host, auctioneer and entertainment. For the time being it all remains to secret so all you have to do now is put the date in your diary, book your ticket and prepare for a fantastic night!
Why we rely on fundraising support
Every year Fifteen Melbourne recruits 20 young people to join our pioneering apprenticeship scheme at a cost of $60,000 per student. In order to continue our work, and to impact more young people in the community, we need to raise just over $1,000,000 a year. Our annual fundraising event is a very important way of reaching this financial target.
